For Art Asyl and Studio Audience:
We designed and implemented a “workshop on workshops” for the German cultural organisation Art Asyl and Studio Audience focused on workshop and moderation skills. Currently, Studio Audience is in the first year of a four-year development phase. Our half-day workshop in Cologne centred around presenting workshop and moderation methods for the current and future work of Studio Audience. We introduced various tools and approaches, particularly creative, participatory, and foresight-inspired methods. The workshop provided a framework for developing potential and future-oriented goals for Studio Audience and discussing aspects of diversity in the cultural sector now and in the future. The workshop was specifically designed for the team from Studio Audience and Art Asyl.
The German organisation Art Asyl realizes art and cultural projects for and with refugees in Cologne, aiming at empowerment and participation. Their offerings include cultural education, workshops, and networking for artists. Studio Audience advises and supports Cologne’s public and independent cultural scenes in outreach and audience development. With the intention to make Cologne a nationwide leader in cultural participation and diversity, Art Asyl receives institutional support from the Cologne Cultural Office for the development of Studio Audience.
