This month, the international non-profit think tank The Millennium Project (we chair the project´s German Node) has just published the Delphi and scenarios study “Three Futures of the Covid-19 Pandemic in the United States January 1, 2022″. The study was developed in close cooperation with the American Red Cross and the Millennium Project Team around Jerome Glenn, Theodore Gordon, and Elizabeth Florescu, among others. In total, three scenarios were developed which illustrate possible futures and future handling of the global pandemic.
For example, the conclusions stress how important it will be for adequate strategies to also consider international repercussions and coordination. Thus, this is not only relevant to the US or as a blueprint for further national studies but also as it already provides important global implications and insights.
If you would like to learn more about it, you can find a link to the complete study here, more info on the research background here, and there’s a full episode (nr. 72) in the podcast futurepod on this!
